U Gel cassis 70g

U Gel 1: 0.8 is a liquid gel of 70g (55ml) with a carbohydrate composition between glucose (maltodextrin) and fructose of 1: 0.8, which research has proven to be an optimal ratio of fast and slow carbohydrates.

When consumed at 70g carbohydrates / hour or more, this composition is both the nicest to the stomach and the fastest when it comes to energy absorption. You can consume up to 4 gels per hour which produces 120g carbs per hour. A lot of fuel for a hard working engine. But the recommended dosage is 2-3 gel per hour which gives 60-90g carbohydrates per hour.

The gel is easy-flowing, so you do not need to drink water in conjunction with intake. They have fresh flavors where the blackcurrant gel and cola also contain 30mg of caffeine which gives the little extra kick when you need it most. All gels contain all 4 large electrolytes that you lose via sweat (Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium) in a well-balanced amount.
